- The bank is registered as a co-operative bank under Bombay Co-operative Act. In 1955 vide registration no. 1267 dt. 03-05-1955.
- There after the bank had received the license from Reserve Bank of India in 2001 The license no. is UBD.AH.GUJ.0018 P dt. 23-02-2001.
- The bank had opened two branches in New Sardar Market Yard and Derdi Kumbhaji in 1981.
- In 2003 two more branches were opened in Rajkot and Jasdan.
- In 2014 two more branches were opened at Gundala Road Gondal and Sanathli.
- In 2016 one branch at Shapar-Veraval was opened .
- Hence at present the bank has 8 branches in the district of Rajkot.
- The bank has area of operation in eight districts of Rajkot, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Junagadh, Porbandar, Morbi & Botad.
- The bank has started by giving loans of Rs. 500 to the poor people, vegetable vendors and Rs. 2000 to the retail shop holders in Nani Bazar & Moti Bazar.
- The bank had 55000 members as on date. The bank sanctions now maximum Rs. 100 lakhs per member.
- The bank had given gift to its members once in two years and now the same had been given in the year 2021-22.
- The bank has been governed by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Govt. of Gujrat and Reserve Bank of India.
- As per RBI guidelines bank is Tier II bank and having deposits of Rs. 300 crores functioning in one district of Rajkot.
- The bank is administered by the Board of Directors and the names of present members of the board are listed in Board.
- The bank has 60 members on Staff and out of which 14 are officers.
- The bank is functioning with optimum level of staff strength.
